In Summer 2026, The OYATO Collective and Lhaude Africa have joined forces to launch the ROOTS x OYATO Pop-Up Tour, a multi-city shopping experience spotlighting African and diasporic fashion brands in New York and Washington, DC.
Each pop up will feature a blend of designer showcases, brand activations and networking opportunities connecting fashion buyers, media, and tastemakers.
Lhaude Africa is a Pan-African platform and community empowering creative entrepreneurs. Born from a recognition of the resource and access disparities faced by emerging African designers, they have established programs, events and channels designed to foster learning, connection and commerce.
Their mission is to elevate the indigenous African fashion industry by supporting these very designers, cultivating talent and showcasing the diversity and richness of African fashion on a global stage. Lhaude Africa strives to create a sustainable and inclusive fashion ecosystem that celebrates African cultural heritage and creativity while driving economic growth and positive social impact within local communities.
